Sigfield & Goat Island Residents

The Town of Summerton has performed many tests on the water systems at Sigfield & Goat Island. Routine sampling sites have all come back negative for total coliform and bacteria.  SCDHEC is requiring the Sigfield & Goat Island systems to remain under the boil water advisor until the water storage tank at Goat Island is replaced.  We are working with the engineers and DHEC on expediting this process to make the repairs to the tank.  We will update you on the next steps that will be taken when all permits have been issued from DHEC.
